ENPC Corporate Social Investment (CSI)
The Corporate Social Investment (CSI) involves charitable projects that are undertaken by the company over and above the normal course of business and within the ambit of core areas are classified as CSI activities/projects. Corporate Social Investment Projects (“CSI Projects”) shall mean and include all programs/projects/activities that contribute to the overall sustainable development of local communities and thereby helps in the welfare of society at large.
Focus of CSI
Below are the focus areas of the ENPC CSI program:
- Environment: to support communities, NGO’s and interest groups on projects that are aimed at environmental rehabilitation, awareness, and initiatives that focus on environmental degradation prevention.
- Education: to support initiatives that improve educational infrastructure in the country, this includes upgrading or constructing facilities, procuring teachings aids, or lab equipment.
- Health: to support improvements to the country’s health sector by supporting health initiatives so more people can access better health services in their communities. This includes the purchase of medical equipment, PPE, consumables, and other essentials.
- Energy Poverty: to provide aid towards eradicating energy poverty, especially in rural areas.
- Community-based & Social Development: to support communities on projects/programs that relate to social and economic development.
